Craftsmanship at Its Best

Bespoke and One of a kind Homewares
Bespoke Furniture & One-of-a-Kind Homewares
I create unique, handcrafted furniture and homewares using native and recycled timber. Each piece begins with materials that already have a story — from old dinghies, pianos, and vintage furniture to driftwood and rescued wood from building projects.
By combining timber with metal accents, steel legs, or repurposed antique features like bath legs, every item becomes a functional work of art with its own character and charm.
Whether you’re looking for a statement dining table, a rustic coffee table, or a distinctive homeware piece, my workshop offers ready-made designs as well as fully custom builds.
You’re welcome to visit the studio to view available furniture and homewares in person. To arrange a viewing or discuss a custom design, call or email, and we’ll bring your vision to life.

Custom Designs and Made or Order Designs
For those seeking something truly personal, I offer a complete made-to-order service. We’ll work together from concept to completion, ensuring your piece perfectly fits your space, style, and functional needs.
Whether you have a clear idea in mind or just the seed of an inspiration, I’ll help shape it—selecting the right timber, materials, and finishes to make it a reality. I’ve received consistently positive feedback from past commissioned projects, and many clients return for additional creations.
If you’re ready to commission your own one-of-a-kind piece, call or email to start the design process. Together, we can create a unique work of art for your home.

Art Trail
Every Easter, I take part in the Whangārei Heads Art Trail – a vibrant annual event where local artists open their studios to the public. It’s a fantastic opportunity for visitors to explore the stunning Whangārei Heads area while discovering the creativity and craftsmanship of its artistic community.
During the trail, my studio doors are open for you to step inside, see my work up close, and learn more about the process behind each piece. I love meeting visitors, sharing stories about the materials I use, and helping people find the perfect piece to take home.
Many guests leave with their own prize piece – a handcrafted table, a bespoke homeware item, or a one-off design that becomes a treasured part of their home. Whether you’re a collector, a casual browser, or simply curious, the Art Trail is a wonderful way to experience my work in its natural setting.

NZ Collaboration
Every two years, I am invited to take part in CollaboratioNZ – a renowned international arts event held in Whangārei, New Zealand. This unique gathering brings together artists and makers from around the world to collaborate across mediums, share skills, and create original works in a truly inspiring setting beneath Mount Manaia.
For me, it’s an opportunity to work alongside talented sculptors, metalworkers, glass artists, woodworkers, and more – blending techniques, exchanging ideas, and experimenting with materials in new ways.
Many of the one-of-a-kind pieces I create at CollaboratioNZ combine reclaimed timber with unexpected elements, reflecting the creative energy and innovation that flows from the event.
Taking part in this biennial collaboration keeps my work fresh, inspired, and connected to a global community of makers – and those influences often flow directly into the bespoke furniture and homewares I create for clients.
